Model selection is now unified across the app
Mallo now uses a more consistent model selection flow across navigation, tray entry points, and model management.
We tightened up how model selection works across the app so choosing a speech model feels like one system instead of a few disconnected surfaces.
What Changed
Model choice is now better aligned between the main models page, supporting navigation entry points, and the tray flow. That reduces the feeling that there are multiple places half-owning the same setting.
What Feels Better
The improvement is mostly about confidence:
- less duplicated state
- less ambiguity around the active model
- a more direct path from browsing to choosing
Why This Matters
Speech settings should feel boring in the best way. When the model system stays consistent, the rest of the app feels more trustworthy and easier to learn.
