Mallo 1.2.23
Mallo 1.2.23 brings OpenClaw setup into Settings, so you can connect it, repair it, and check its status without editing config files by hand.
Mallo 1.2.23 makes OpenClaw setup feel like a normal part of the app. You can now open Settings, connect OpenClaw, repair the connection, and confirm the status in one place.
Release Highlights
- OpenClaw setup now lives in Settings instead of feeling like a separate manual workflow.
- Repair is built in when OpenClaw needs attention after setup.
- Status is easier to understand before and after you connect it.
What Changed In Real Use
If you use OpenClaw for inbound audio transcription, the old setup path was easy to lose track of. Even when the bridge logic worked, it still felt too hidden and too technical for a feature you may want to revisit later.
With 1.2.23, OpenClaw has a proper home inside Settings. You can choose how Mallo should connect, run the one-click setup, and come back later to refresh or repair the connection if something drifts.
What To Expect
The one-click flow is built around the engines that fit the current bridge path best: Whisper and Qwen. If your active Mallo engine is Parakeet, Settings will guide you to choose Whisper or Qwen for the OpenClaw connection instead of leaving you guessing.
Why This Patch Matters
Integrations are only useful when they stay understandable after day one. This patch turns OpenClaw from a hidden setup path into a normal Settings feature you can find again, trust, and fix when needed.
