Mallo 1.2.15
Mallo 1.2.15 restores existing Qwen setups after upgrade, so installed runtimes keep working without asking you to reinstall.
Mallo 1.2.15 fixes a Qwen upgrade issue. If you already had Qwen installed, Mallo now restores that setup automatically after the app updates.
Release Highlights
- Existing Qwen installs now survive upgrades more reliably instead of appearing missing after you update Mallo.
- No reinstall should be needed for the normal upgrade path if Qwen was already working on your Mac.
- Qwen setup checks are safer now because we added upgrade-migration coverage for this exact case.
What Changed In Real Use
This patch is for people who updated Mallo and suddenly saw Qwen look unavailable even though it had already been installed before. With 1.2.15, Mallo recognizes that older managed setup and restores it automatically.
That means the expected flow is simple again: update the app, restart, keep using Qwen.
Why This Patch Matters
Local model setup should not feel fragile after an app update. If you took the time to install Qwen once, Mallo should keep that work intact.
This patch makes upgrades behave that way again.
